Obtaining regular dental care is essential to your overall health! We offer dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride applications, sealants, and SDF solutions to keep you smiling.
Sometimes, patients require more than preventative care. For these patients, we provide fillings, deep cleanings, gum maintenance, and Laser Bacterial Reduction services.
For some patients, further dental care is needed. We offer root canals, crowns, bridges, extractions, and pulpotomies for the patients who require extensive restorative care.
A light form of sedation is used to allow treatment to be carried out while still maintaining verbal contact with the patient.
General anesthesia is a state of unconsciousness produced by an anesthesiologist where the patient does not remember or feel anything during the procedure.
We offer a child-friendly atmosphere where oral health education is taught to families in a fun and comfortable setting while awaiting their appointments.
Healthy Smiles provides specialized services such as treatment under general anesthesia for kids in Orange County. Sedation services are provided both at our main clinic in Garden Grove and at CHOC Children’s Hospital. This is a vital service for children with special needs, children that require extensive treatment, and medically fragile cases. Sedation can help increase cooperation and prevent injury by helping children remain still around dental instruments.

Our top trained dental staff are excited to see you in our clinic. If you’re looking for sensory, behavioral, or any other accommodations, please let us know.
We know how hard it can be making it to the dentist, especially for kids. So, we make it as easy as possible to receive the dental care you need.
We accept Denti-Cal and PPO dental insurance.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that every child visits the dentist around age 1 or within 6 months of their first tooth coming in. Establishing a dental home with regular care can help a child feel comfortable in a dental environment. By providing regular care, we are able to detect problems early.
During the first visit, oral health education will be provided to give parents the tools necessary to keep their children cavity free. For older children, the first visit can include an exam, cleaning, and necessary x-rays. If any treatment is needed, a doctor will review all recommendations and treatment plans thoroughly, making sure to answer all questions.
Avoid using words around your child that might cause fear, such as “needle”, “shot”, “drill”, or “hurt” – we do not use these words in our office.
For your first visit, remember to bring the following items:
-Your child’s medical history.
-A list of any medications your child is taking.
-Your insurance information, if applicable.
Toothaches are the #1 reason for preventable ER visits in the nation.
We believe all children should be able to eat, play, and learn pain-free!
